We have started a petition to object to the waste plant by the river.
At the market in Goulburn on Saturday the 3rd, we collected over 200 signatures.
About 95% of the people who took a minute to see our map and listen to what is planned there were opposed to the idea. Most of them signed our petition while a few took our flier and said they would read up first before signing.
For most people we talked to, it was the first they had heard anything about the plans by Council and the Divalls.
Nearly everyone thanked us for letting them know and many took fliers and said they would tell others, so we felt very encouraged by our efforts.
