I would like to enter lots of the submissions, but unfortunately they were scanned as image files and thus very difficult to copy and paste. But from time to time I may put in bits and pieces.
To start, here is part of John Sutton's submission:
---- With all due respect to the people who prepared the Air Quality Impact Assessment, I don't believe what they have reported and submitted to Council. Far too many assumptions have been made to make the figures believable.
To say that every cubic meter of air within a building contains the same amount of odour is rubbish (pardon the pun). We all know if you place a carcass in one corner of a shed, the closer you get to it, the more unpleasant the odour.
p. 66 of Council enclosures
---
I don't know if I would have chosen that particular example, but I know what John means, and I guess the residents of Goulburn can relate to what he is saying! (And I won't comment on what that says about Goulburn or its residents!)
